This HEI distributor is designed for the enthusiast looking to replace outdated points or a stock distributor with a dependable high energy distributor. Converting to an HEI system makes installation and set-up easy. Just drop it in and connect two wires. It’s that simple. This high performance distributor features a 50,000 volt coil that delivers 2x the energy across the spark gap compared to a stock HEI distributor. Fits all 64-84 Ford 302 motors. Will not fit 1985 and later 5.0L/302 “roller” motors. NOTE: stock air cleaner will not clear distributor.
