The revised Competition Gen.2 intercooler kit for the VAG models With the 2.0T(F)SI 1st & 2nd generation engine. The Competition Intercooler has the following Core dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L), providing a 10 Percent larger flow area and 50 Percent more intercooler volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler.
The newly developed Competition high-performance intercooler core still grants enough airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg / Wagner Tuning 9.2kg).
CAD developed freeform end boxes with incorporated Cast aluminum air baffle for best possible internal air distribution.
- The CNC machined hose connections were enlarged to 1/2 67mm , so this Kit Comes With: matching silicone hoses.
- Overall this intercooler has far from less back pressure than the stock cooler.
- In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
- Installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform.
- All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
