Remove the rod cap and install our Universal Rod Guide Tool over the bolts. Then, use the palm of your hand to drive out the piston and rod assembly.

Most rod bolt covers just help prevent nicked crankshafts when installing rods on the crank, but our guide tool can also be used during disassembly.
