This connecting rod vise is for holding one or more aluminum or steel connecting rods. Connecting rods can be tough to hold securely without damage when removing the caps, replacing bolts, torqueing the bolts, checking rod clearances, beam polishing, or during machining. This vice can be permanently bench mounted or used with a shop vice.
