The Focus RS was very well engineered and performed admirably out of the box. However, a few upgrades can quickly lead to heat issues, especially on the track or in hot climates. An upgraded radiator from CSF is the perfect solution.

Increased boost and upgraded turbos generate significantly more heat, and the stock system can struggle to keep up. Combined with the heat exchanger mounted in front of the radiator, engine coolant temps can get too hot, especially during track use which can trigger limp mode.
