The direct bolt-in design requires no modifications or core charge. Most of these boxes are worn out after 50+ years of service and are not rebuildable. Scott Drake's new boxes feature improved needle bearing design for smoother operation. These boxes eliminate play in the steering wheel, hesitation, and wandering. It improves high-speed tracking and an overall sense of control.
