Improper clamping of any portion of the shaft can result in seal failure. The end treatment must then be torqued to 35-40 ft\/lbs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e Caution\u003c\/strong\u003e: over torqueing will result in poor adjuster function.
