And the seats were known to wear at higher rates causing the valve to sink further into the head.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe valves of the 7.3 are commonly known to wear down well below the margins. Leaving razor sharp edges that can fail leaving the piston to take on the remainder of the valve in the cylinder.
