These are longer length  than the stock shackles and allow for maximum wheel travel. Using polyurethane bushings keeps them from deflecting under articulation like the stock ones and also allows them to pivot smoother and unrestricted. The stock shackles are too short and limit droop. These are 1.5\" longer than stock. Since the shackles are longer, they will lower the ride height compared to the stock shackles. These fit the OEM 3\" wide leaf springs (3.50\" with bushings).On Bronco's you need to clearance the body seam behind the shackle to it doesn't hit it on compression unless you use a drop hanger which will raise the ride height back up.
